Just wanted to share the beautiful scarf Corinna made for me from Mandys fur! I absolutely love it! Thanks again Corinna! :D

That's so cool! I'm saving up Duke's fur to make a special blanket. I'll have one area in the middle of his fur and surround it by some hand dyed yarn from a friend. How much did you have to save?

Surprisingly it wasn't that much. I had two quart size freezer bags smooshed full. I'm telling ya Val, you will love it. It is one of my most precious possesions. I can't wait to wear it! :)

I'm so glad to Mandy approved Nebo did the same thing with Amy's. The white is a strandof silk ,I was a making sure I had enough. Funny you caught her grizz snout Sunday night after work we had to wait a few mintues to go to our cars, had one wandering around our parking lot. Of course the last day to be open to the public.

OMG!! With as much as my pups shed I could have an entire wardrobe of clothes made from their fur! I already have carpets that look like they are made of dog fur! :o :p

What a wonderful thing to have!

Thats awesome. I was saving up Nanooks fur, I had a HUGE outdoor garbage bag full but a few months ago it got spilled all over the place right before my pipes sprung a leak. After a few hours trying to pick it up, dry it & keep it all clean and only got about 1/4 of it done I gave up and picked it up by the bunches, left it in a safer spot to dry & to clean. Days later it was starting to get a musty smell etc.. etc... I ended up giving up.

They spin & weave it just like sheep/llama fur etc... Then they knit it into what ever they want.

If it is washed in shampoo it shouldn't smell. as it is the dander that has the oder not the hair(wool)

Just so ya know, it wasn't a gift! Corinna makes things out of dog hair for people, I originally found out about it in our 'Marketplace'. I had heard of people doing this and always dreamed one day of doing it and then I ran across Corinna! :D

Ok just to save time and PM"S to me I charge $20 for the spinning and $20 for the knitting . If you wast a Tam/berat it $25 to knit. It takes about a bread sack stuffed full for either.
