Finn's first time in the ocean! *many photos*

Hey, everyone! Cool new site, huh? I like it! So, to celebrate the new look, I'm posting pictures of Finn's first trip to the beach. We had such a good time, he behaved so well! He didn't know what to think of the salt water at first, and, he did get sick once and he was basically peeing out of his butt all day! It wasn't even diarrhea, just icky water. Sorry for the visual...but, he never once acted like he didn't feel well. I took too many photos, as usual...and, couldn't choose...I have more coming, but, I ran out of room in my photobucket album, so, I have to figure something out for the other photos...anyway...here's Finn at Folly Beach!

he rolled around in it like he used to in the river in plano, texas...when he was less than seven months old, it was so cute!

aww he looked like he had a blast! zoey hasn't been to the ocean yet. it will ahve to be next year :( But make sure you give water right after she is done because if she has salt water it get her dehydrated (SP) anyway, what is finn's favorite thing to chase in the water?

I've never seen Finn drink so much water! He must have drank six bottles of it in one sitting...and, he was drinking out of hoses everywhere we went, too. We made sure to carry lots of water! We took a red kong ball to catch in the water, he loves to play with whatever! He's really not picky! Here are a few more...

Ok, I think that's all of them. :) Sorry for so many, I just couldn't choose. It was such a wonderful day, and one I won't soon forget! I love my dog! :) He did so well! Even at the restaurant, he sat and/or laid down right at our feet and never once acted up. There's something to be said for wearing a lab down. ;) I was so proud of him!

awesome! man, i knew when i took that one, that it was a good one! most of them are mediocre at best, but, i think you're right to choose this. it really shows his energy and spirit. he had so much fun, smiles all around!

Hey, thank you so much, everyone for checking out my photos! We did have a wonderful day, and, Finn really did play hard! We all did! He went swimming with us on Friday, too, and, I got photos with a waterproof camera that I still have to scan. He swam over a mile while we kayaked, it was amazing! I got a couple of really good ones! He's had a busy weekend! :) Just like a lab deserves! He thrives on it!

Great pics! Looks like he really loved the ocean. I like the ones of him diving in the waves. It looks to me he enjoys the ocean more than the lake.

I think it was the waves that made him so happy! And, he could really run! It's a little harder at the lake, that's for sure! I still have pics of him swimming beside the kayak that I need to scan...maybe I'll do some of those real quick...He did love the water, though! :)

Don't envy us too much, we're two hours away. ;) But, it is nicer than when I was in Dallas, it was a lot farther to the beach there. Luckily for Finn, we live about 100 yards from the lake, so, at least he has that! :)

Thanks you guys! Actually, it's only been a few days since I posted photos of Finn, so, he hasn't grown any since those...but, in the last six months, he's gained twenty pounds! Crazy! And, bckrazy, he only felt the affects of the saltwater that afternoon...he never once acted like he didn't feel well even that day. He tossed his cookies (along with my friend!) once after running hard, and, then had saltwater poo a couple times that day. But, he slept the whole way home (ended up being a 3 1/2 hour trip, too, because we ended up blowing a few fuses) and was 100% tip top the next day. :)
