It was suggested that I post a notice here. There is a thread called "New Stuff" down in the Town Hall forum. Here is that thread. (http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthread.php?p=1278412)

In it I explain lots of the new features, and answer questions. We will continue to do so as we know this is a big adjustment for everyone!

I will not be able to survive this without my favorite feature......"TODAY'S THREADS". Using "new posts" is NOT the same. :(

Jen, I use that feature a lot myself. Now I just use new posts.

Wow!! I've been busy all day, and when I logged in, I was surprised by the new look and the new features. It's exactly like the German hashimoto thyreoidism forum I'm sometimes visiting, so it's kind of familiar...

BTW, the email notification thing doesn't seem to work for me anymore. I have my settings on "instant notification", and yet I got no email when someone replied to one of my posts.

My gosh! I go away on vacation and was instantly freaked out when I opened Pet Talk! I was scared! It looks pleasing to the eye but I don't like my "cheese moved" too often. It's going to take a while for me to get used to this new look. Thanks for the post of new features and stuff. I think I better print it out.

Glad to know I'm not the only one I don't have time to visit each section the todays post was a great thing for me.

Looks good, it's the same format as some other forums so I haven't had any problems with it. :)

This is my first time being here since the changes have been made. at first my eyes were like :eek: and i thought i clicked the wrong thing. LOL

i kinda liked the old format better. was a lot easier on my eyes. but oh well. :D

The new look seems good and very pleasant! I did not have time yet to find back everything, but I am sure that once I will get used to it, it will be perfect! :) Let's try!

The new look and features took a little getting used to, but I think it's great!!! Have you decided on a new name yet?? I got another suggestion...Pet Schmooze Place. :p

I came back today after an enforced absence and am very impressed by the new look. Well done!
