Hi all I have a new cat. Well she isn't mine yet. I found her 3 weeks ago and no one is claiming her. I feel so bad because we don't know her name. Someone took very good care of her, she's clean no tangles in her hair and no fleas which is a hard thing to do in this area. She was declawed too front and back....poor thing how can she scratch an itchhttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v480/zookeeperinaltha/Picture3563.jpg (http://http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v480/zookeeperinaltha/Picture3563.jpg)

Is she ever pretty. When does she officially become yours?

Had to fix the link to see her though.

Oh my , what a beauty!! Did you put up signs on trees? Be sure to drop flyers in supermarkets, all houses in your neighbourhood! This cat is obviously a run-away.... . I am sure that some little girl is now desperetely crying for her....

She's gorgeous! She looks like a Persian/Himalayan to me. Have you tried contacting local vets in the area in case somebody called? Our vet has a book of lost & found pets, and it's far & few in between that make it back to their owners. Dogs have a better chance of somebody missing them, but often cats are never claimed. It could have been an elderly person owned her at one time, and if they were in a nursing home, or passed away, many management companies will just let pets out so they can clean a place out and re-rent.:( Whatever the case may be, she's a beauty. :)

SHE CERTAINLY,IS A BEAUTY,AND I WOULD POST SOME NOTICES,ON THE TELEPHONE POLES,AND POST AN AD,IN THE CALSSIFIEDS,IN CASE SHE,IS A CAT,THAT GOT OUT,ACCIDENTALLY,AND SOME ONE,IS WORRYING ABOUT THIER DEAR COMPANION.

I have done every thing. I live in a very rural area. It's up to someone now to contact me. I know how I would feel if mine ended up missing, I could and would never just keep someones cat....and to think of a child missing their cat breaks my heart.
I also have a little blk and wht kitten like the one in your siggy.

Thanks for fixings the link.

Be sure you don't describe her too closely or anyone can say she is theirs. Maybe don't say she is declawed and when you ask them about her they won't say that so you will know she doesn't belong to them. You want to get her back to her rightful owner. Even though they did the nasty deed of declawing.

What a beauty!!! Obviously very well cared for. Do you know if she has a chip? Could she be a hurricane kitty?

We are convinced that this is what happened with our Samson. He was obviously loved by someone at sometime, but he was also obviously dumped out in the country and had been on his own for awhile.:(

I hope no one actually dumped her. :( Quite a beautiful kitty, though!

Oh good idea...the chip I sure hope she does! No i don't think a hurricane kitty could be tho since we have a few folks here from New Orleans and surrounding areas. But no one has answered my adds or signs. Will call the vet tomorrow to see if she has a chip.

She sure is a beautiful girl! I hope you can find her previous people and get them re-united. They must just miss her terribly. But if that doesn't work out, you will have a new, very loving, gorgeous companion of your own.
