I just love Shrek. Anyway, here's MAXIMUS in his boots. He was
NOT a happy camper. But, he tolerates me. I didn't make him wear them long. He was doing the high stepping thing.
It was funny. In the snow, he hardly notices he's wearing them.

He looks better boot-less. He looks like he is being tortured wearing those boots. I am sorry I asked for pics, because poor Maximus had to be subjected to such torture. :D Other than that he is looking like his normal yummy self. :)

He's just gorgeous. Even with his little boots on! I'm planning to get Finn some boots, too...more for "all terrain" than warmth...I don't think it'll get cold enough here for the warm ones. ;) I did get a lifejacket the other day, though, I hope to get pictures soon...Maximus is so incredible, though!

You know, I noticed that too.:D Sometimes I look at him, and he looks giant. Then other times, I think, he's not so big.
He is about 25-26" floor to shoulders. Every time I try to measure
him with a tape measure, he thinks I'm playing. But, I got him to
check out the yard stick.....sucker, he fell for it.

Thanks for all the yummy comments. I think I'm going to look for
some regular type boots. Those are lined and fleeced, for the snow. Maybe I'll make him some that sort of match his coloring.

As for being happy outside, Donna.....as long as he's outside, he can handle anything. We go outside several times a day.
He loves the walks. But, our playing time is mostly inside. Up and down the stairs....we're both gonna lose a few pounds.:D
Hopefully, I'll find a park soon.

my old dog LOVED his booties. He would prance with them & then run hard in the yard with them.. I have soo many pics of him in his booties & coat. & he was a big strong boy like Maximus. but he loved wearing clothing of all kinds.

& now that I tink of it.. I think those are that same booties my old dog had, except his were blue.
