The mornings have been nice enough here that we can have the doors open for a bit. Thought it would be nice to air the house out and look what I found:

There's a bench along the wall by the pictures and plate. I believe he jumped from there!

Thank you! Seems I feel good, then I get up and do things, and feel bad again! I get impatient when I'm sick. I'm not a good patient!;)

I'd better make sure that Chloe doesn't see these pictures. She might get ideas!;)

Lisa, I am glad to hear that you are feeling better, but please take it easy. Sit back and relax, as you truly need it and deserve it. Kevin is very capable of taking care of the kitties, at home and at the park.

Mouser, you are one daring kitty, that's for sure.

Reminds me of a picture I have of Tubby on the door. Looks exactly the same except the door is white. Couldn't find the pic in my digital pics, so now I've just got to go home and scour my photo albums for it. :D

Wow, talk about balance! Nice work! Wouldn't you love to be able to jump and stay like that???

As I was typing this, Miley jumped on top of the door leading to the computer room. Even Lucy is doing it these days. It is a matter of will, I do believe. Chloe is the only one who does not get a thrill from being at the top of everything. They simple leap. The have incredible spring to their leaps. I sometimes forget to look up and inadvertently close a door while a cat is perched on the top...and thump...they jump to the floor!

Abys are noted for their leaping and jumping to high spots. Graemer, my RB kitty was THE BEST leaper!

Hehehehehehehehe. Enjoy the show!;)

Silly boy! My RB kitty Rosebud used to do that on a bedroom door many years ago. She'd lay down up there like an olympic gymnast lol!:D Mouser looks a bit confused about how to get back down.

HA-HA, actually what he's contemplating is jumping on the shelf (you can see it in the 2nd picture). He made it up there and Kevin had to get the ladder and get him down!:D

He reminds me of a panther Paul and I once saw - it soundlessly and fluidly leapt from its enclosier's floor up to a shelf about 12 feet up in a split second, then looked down at us, with those amazing gold eyes against midnight gloss fur.

Good thing he didn't try for the tiny shelf holding the plate! It sure looked like he was thinking about it. :)

This is one trick that Butter has never tried!!!! Thank goodness!!!! :)

Too cute!!! I immediately thought of SAS's crew, though, knowing that they do the exact same thing! LOL!!!!! :D

LOL This is too funny.:D This is one thing that my cats haven't tried to do yet but Pearl loves to jump and climb to high places so I wouldn't put this past her.;)

Mouser, up to now I only knew these Aby monkeys (Filou and Tigris did that when they were younger) but now I see there are black monkeys too:)

When Fluffy entered our house (he was feral and about 2 years old) he would want out at night and we would not give in. One night he decided he was going to make us let him out..........he got up on a high pot shelf, just like the one in Lisa's house, and proceeded to knock over an antique oriential plate. By the time I got downstairs, Tim had Fluffy by the neck and they were nose to nose  Fluffy didn't move, and Tim never said a word, I quickly released Fluffy from the death grip his daddy had on him. Ever since then Fluffy and Tim are the best of friends and Mr. Fluffy has never broken another thing  or gotten up on high places.

Luckily the other 2 are not really interested in high places either! Whew! It would sure freak me out to try to get one of them down!!

OMG!!!! My boys have never done that. Sammy (Mr. Lazybones) wouldn't dare put that much effort into getting up there and we need not fill Payton's fragile little mind with these things.

It seems as if Mouser has been taking lessons from Remus

I don't know how he got up there either. There wasn't anything he could climb up nearby

He got down by jumping on ME as I walked past lol.
