my dog is very sensitive about her 'bum' and tail area. if you touch her tail or anywhere near their she will put her tail between her legs she will bite you (lightly). is there something wrong or doesn't she like to be touched on her tail and around there? and also i was wondering, she has been scooting lately. only a couple times a day though, is that normal?

:) No I dont think so. My baby Splenda is the same way & my others are not.. I think it is that modesty thing just like people.. Some are shy & some are not.. Keep us posted..

She may need her anal glands emptied. I'd make a vet appoitment.

I wouldn't wait because it becomes very uncomfortable for them and harder for the vet to empty them. Logan hates to be touched on her thighs under her tail. She's shedding terribly in clumps there and won't let me brush her out. Hates her feetsies touched too. But LOVES her rump massaged. She'll turn around and practically put it in your face for a rubdown! Yeah, they're all different. Sensitive to different spots like people.

ok, we'll give the vet a call. thats cute about your dog. my dog, missy, used to rub her rump on our glass coffee table. or just want us to give her a massage. lol
