Hi everyone,
I used to be here as "benniegoogle", but my computer crashed and I re-registered as "Google". LOL! So, I'm back, and have some neat news I'd like to share.
Though we all know that Dog of the Day is THE greatest online contest for dog fanciers around the world <smile> I'd like to let you all know about another one that ain't have bad itself!
The Picture Perfect Pooch (http://pictureperfectpooch.homestead.com) photo contest is a weekly one, free to enter, and has a nice prize involved. There are 8 contestants each week, and all breeds and mixed breeds are invited to enter. The prize is an award graphic designed from the winning photo (to be displayed on your personal web site or printed out and hung on the fridge! - and will also be displayed on the Picture Perfect Pooch homepage) and a custom graphic of the winning dog by Google's Graphics (http://googlesgraphics.homestead.com) (AKA ME!).
There are other neat contests to enter from the site as well... theme contests, which will run separately from the normal weekly contest, and will be holiday-specific, and a fund raiser contest for Guiding Eyes for the Blind, which is held quarterly and has an entry fee.
I hope to have lots of folks enter your fabulous canine friends in to be scheduled in upcoming contests throughout the year.
