Hope for the future - SART

I wanted to tell everyone about something that has been started and is beginning to get underway. It is a new rescue organization called SART. It stands for State Animal Rescue Team. It is then being broken down into county teams called CART...for County Animal Rescue Team. My husband and I have joined the one here in Centre County. I urge you if you are interested in being trained to rescue animals in disaster situations to please look into your own state. It is unfortunate that Louisiana didn't have their Teams trained and in place when Katrina hit. But there is still a future.
