Katie, Tori And The Bone...Tons Of Pics!

I really wish I understood and spoke dog language..lol. I am constantly trying to figure out who is the boss between my two girls. Tori seems to always get her way! There are times when I do see Katie tell her to back off though. Tori constantly pesters Katie, yet there are times when I see Tori asleep and Katie paws at her and bugs her. Usually they sleep together but one day they were on opposite sides of the room sleeping when I saw Katie look up and give a small whine and a low woof. Tori got up and went right over to Katie and laid her head on Katie's front paws while Katie groomed her. It was like she was mothering her. Why does Katie allow Tori to get away with everything but she won't tolerate other dogs? What does it all mean? Will I ever know?....LOL. Probably not;)

Here is an example of what I am talking about.

The girls were outside the other day and I decided to take some pics. One of their bones had been left out in the yard. It quickly became Tori's bone! Katie just stood over top of her. Was she guarding her, dominating her or letting her know she would get that bone as soon as she got a chance!

A little later Katie did havethe bone for a bit along with a very tiny stick. She was not allowed to keep the stick for long!

Well you know she is! Katie lets her get away with almost everything, but she's her sister and she loves her...you can see that in her eyes when they are playing together. Katie may make some noises but she doesn't mean a thing by it (but of course you know that;)).
I love watching the two of them play!

I agree, i wish i could speak dog language also. Its amazing how they seem to know what each other is saying. Have those two always loved each other so much? Did they grow up together? Sorry for all the questions but i was told i could have problems with 3 female dogs living together. So far so good though no problems...

Your fur kids are just beautiful! I really never realized how big Katie was until now. She is stunning. They both are. Thanks for sharing this i really enjoyed it..:)

Seeing the pictures of Torri and Katie interact with
each other so lovingly is wonderful.

As for who is the boss.........well, you know how those siberians are! LOL!
And you know who rules at our house - Queen Star! Poor Sherman could relate to Katie- he never gets the good stuff, either! But he doesn't seem to mind.
I sure wish Katie could come to the PT picnics, maybe someday she'll tolerate other dogs, too. She is so cute with Tori.

Especially the last one...big scary teeth! ;) You are lucky they are so tolerant of eachother...if Nebo had a bone and another dog tried to take it.....look out! :eek: (that's why he only gets stuff like that alone) My theory is that Katie is the boss she just lets Tori get away with picking on her most of the time. ;)

I am always amazed at how well your pretty girls get along. Yes, I have to agree that Katie spoils Tori, but that is because she loves her, and I am sure that Tori would do anything for Katie as well. They are just the perfect sisters. You obviously did something right in the way raised them. :)

Oh my gosh Robin I love these pictures. The one of them with the twig made me get a big ole smile on my face. Your girls are just too pretty and sweet together.

I love these pictures Robin, and I just love your girls so much. Their relationship and love for each other is so touching and it must just warm your heart to see them so happy together. Reminds me a bit of Tommy and Tasha's relationship, with Tasha being the motherly/older sister role :D. Tash even used to lick and clean his face when he was younger, it was so cute.

It is soo amazing to me how much they love each other!! My dogs would never be caught dead cuddling with each other, well the only ones that will cuddle together are Jack and Ky and sometimes Ky and Mini. Katie and Tori are soo cute!!!
