My best friend Amber just recently moved in to a trailer near her parents house and they told her that they let her boxer out while she was in heat in July and she got pregnant by her cousins male pit bull, and then also bred with their olde english bulldogge.

Amber works a lot and knows that Chloie's milk is always bad so someone would need to bottle feed them. Well, I offered to take them. They are the most adorable little things. They were born early this morning.
The male is solid white with 3 brown spots on his butt (just like their bulldogge, George), and the female is black with white markings on her chest and on her feet. She looks a lot like the pit bull Bodie, except Bodie has white markings on his face too. Chloie only had 3 puppies and the other one was stillborn.

My fiance' and I helped Amber bottle feed 2 puppies that were from the last time she got pregnant, when we were here in Feb. living with Amber. Chloie had about 10 pups the last time and only those 2 made it.

It really pisses me off that they don't go and get her spayed. She's 6-7 years old and shes way to old to be having puppies. They need to be responsible and not have all these poor puppies come in to the world.

I don't mind taking care of the puppies because I love dogs but wouldn't it be a lot more simple if they just got her fixed.

Here is one of the pictures I have of Chloie from a while back.

Thats too bad. Good for you for caring for the cuties.

I was curious as to why her milk is bad? (I like to learn). I've heard of that in people if they are not healthy enough or whatever but not in dogs before. Could it of changed in the last couple years?

^)$@#$#()@# UGH. Im sorry you have to be stuck in the middle of that. I know its hard to try and educate people who wont listen, especially friends. Its bad enough they dont get her spayed, but worse that they let her loose, ESPECIALLY since shes not spayed, AND in heat.

maybe you can take her to an animal shelter and show her what shes helping to fuel. even if all the puppies shes brought into the world have gotten homes, those are homes that couldve gone to dogs dying in animal shelters.

EDIT: another thing, you can try explaining the health risks involved in keeping a dog intact. "Repeated heat cycles subject the reproductive system to uterine and mammary cancers and uterine infections." http://www.canismajor.com/dog/spayneut.html

heres some other links you can show her on why to spay:
