The first story in this article from the Los Angeles Times is amazing.

6-year-old becomes a hero to band of toddlers, rescuers (http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/ssistory.mpl/front/3340752)

Wow. I can't even begin to imagine how those poor mothers must have felt. How amazing that little boy is to take lead and care for those other 6 children. Wow.

He is a remarkable child, I hope someone is recording all of this, and keeping some sort of memory-book for him.

Some children are very responsible, more so than many adults. He is one, and should be commended. I bet his ribs are sore from all the hugs the moms of those babies are giving him!

What a remarkable little boy! It's hard to believe a child so young could care for the little troop of younger ones without falling apart. Especially the five month old baby! :) Who knows...this child could grow up to be President someday.:)

What a wonderful story and what a fine young man. Unbelievable! He'll grow up to be a very fine adult too I'm sure.

There are times when the innocence of a child can be a great thing.

Being a grown up sometimes has it's disadvantages,
Not knowing fear can be a good thing sometimes.;)

Wow! that is a great story - just shows age doesn't matter - some are just mature beyond their years. And miracles still do happen!
