when do rabbits prepare a nest for there babies? (how long after breeding)

you should know this .....you said you reaserched it any who it should be the 3rd or fourth week but some dont even nest or show signs

:) I used to raise New Zealand Whites & they would never nest till right before giving birth {within the week of}..

You should put a nestbox in 28 days after breeding the doe and she may start to pull fur as soon as the nestbox is in or wait until just before kindling (giving birth). They usually kindle 30-32 days after being bred, 31 days in the average day.

buttercup132, i forgot... so i was just wondering. and i dont live at my dads (where the bunny is) so i didn't know how early she made it the last time.

My mini lop doe didn't nest until te day she gave birth, it depends on the rabbit. (then again, I didn't know she was preggers, my brother thought it would be "cute" to breed her with my other rabbit. He knows better now.)

ok i will. i am NOT breeding anymore bunnies. we are going to rescue them from auctions and humane societies.
