I am cat Meowmie to five - and this weekend we are taking care of my Granddog. She usually come over during the week but only for short visits. Cinnamon is a beautiful old girl, a Golden Retriever and is 15 or 16 years old. What do the kitties think?? Robbie said
what is this?? a big orange kitty??

Cinnamon's dad brought over her new bed and she settled into the office with us...our Lizzie loves Cinnamon and came to give her a sniff.

Uh-Oh...looks like Lizzie can be pretty bossy!

No peaceful meals at this house - but then, Cinnamon had four kitty siblings of her own at home...

She is enjoying the big backyard on this cool morning...

I suspect I will have some snuggle pictures before the week is over:)
She belongs to my son and his wife Chris (chrangharris). Chris's mom is persianmom who got Cinnamon as a three month old puppy.
I hope you enjoyed meeting Cinnamon!!

Cinnamon, what a gorgeous girl you are!! Looks like you fit right in there at Grandma's;) Robbie and Lizzie look "intrigued" to say the least. You could be the biggest orange kitty they've ever seen. Huh??

She's a very pretty girl and we're happy to meet her!!:D

Love, Terry, Daisy and Delilah:)

:D Yes, Cinnamon is a pretty girl. And she looks particularly unpertubed by the kitties. But then I guess she is more used to having kitties around than your kitties are to having a dog around.

Cinnamon is doing just fine here! She spent a few days at the animal hospital last week and had to have fluids...they thought she was starting to fail...but turns out she had the flu! She seems the same as ever now:D She is eating well, drinking tons and taking her medicines that I wrap in some wet food.
Our kitty Lizzie follows her around still...

Hubby goes for errands in the truck and Cinnamon like to go, too!

Oh how cute. :) It's nice that she has Lizzy and Grandpa to hang around with and play with when she visits Grandma and Grandpa. It's okay, we know she loves her Grandma, too. ;) I am glad to hear that she is doing well. Keep taking your medicine, Cinnamon.

First let me say I'm glad that Cinnamon is doing ok:)
She looks great for her age that's for sure!

Now for that BIG "bandana" around her neck...let me guess...it's for DROOL isn't it :p Of course it's one of the first things I noticed being the mom of a big drooler myself;)
How did you keep it on, I can't see what's holding it.

The pictures were adorable and I'm sure you all had a good time having a big doggie around the house:D

:o Yes Anna it's a drool bib:o Didn't fool anyone did I? Yes, Cinnamon drools quite a bit - or maybe I am just not used to it? I have never really noticed when she comes to visit for short times so I am thinking Chris mentioned that the antibiotic makes her mouth water. Her chin and chest stay pretty wet with it so I made a couple terry "bandanas" for her - I was not sure how to keep it on and worries she would catch her jaw in it or catch it on something - so I pulled the two pointed edges together and they are fastened loosely with a pony tail elastic. :D

gina - we have her with us until Friday or Saturday. I figure I should have this doggie stuff figured out by then:p Yes, she is a real sweetheart. Thanks for the very nice comments about Cinnamon:D

Nope didn't fool me;)
That really was a good idea, I'm sure Mark will like that one when eating time comes around as Bon is a wanderer and likes to wipe his mouth on daddy and mommy's chair:o
