New Foster Dane!

Hi,

I am fostering a dane, so now I have 4 danes to take care of right now. The foster dane is a 12 week old brown merle. She is a little charecter!!! Her name is Sweety, and it sure fits her!!!

Aww, how cute!! My aunt breeds great danes, and the puppies sure are cute!!:D They are absolutly gorgeous dogs!

Alothough, I never knew brown merle was a colour... I have heard of merles...just not brown merle. Do you have a picture?

brown merle is what scooby doo is...just with more spots..and the spots are brown...
it's a color that BYB's try and breed for:( cause everyone wants a scobby doo:rolleyes:

pretty sure it's actually called red merle though..

The colour Scooby Doo is is 'fawn merle' -- red merle is different. :) Though I've never heard of fawn OR red merle being called 'brown merle.' They call red merle danes 'chocolate merle' sometimes...maybe that's what brown merle is?

scooby doo doesnt look like a "fawn merle" to me..
yea chocolate merle is probably the correct term..
