Or maybe it's Google Desktop Beta... I don't know. :p
I downloaded it off their site and I really like it.

From top to bottom, the things on the side are:
1. Email- shows you new emails when you receive them. (have to have a gmail account.)
2. News- I have this one minimized.
3. Web Clips- haven't figured it out yet...
4. Scratch Pad- you can write anything here... I have it blurred because I quick wrote down my friends number. :p It won't get erased, either.
5. Photos- you can go to options and pic a few folders and it randomly shows some pictures from that file as a slideshow.
6. Quickview- this just shows a list of all the pages you've had open and you can click on one to open it again. This doesn't affect the bar on the bottom of the screen.
7. Whats Hot- news, movies, etc.
8. Stocks. BORING! :p Mines minimized.
9. Weather- shows your local weather. :)
I like it! It's keeping me organized... lmao.
