Yes, George is an Oscar. He's battling a little Hole in the Head now, but he's on the mend. :)

OMG! I was not expecting his face to be that big. It made me giggle. George is very handsome :)

Do you play ball with him? I have heard they are almost like dogs!

I would love to get an oscar, But I don't have anyroom for a monster tank like they need.

I do play ball with him! You can't see it in the picture, but he has a little orange ping pong ball that we play with when I clean his tank every week. :D I'll have to get someone to get a video of it someday. ;)

Oscars are big fishies and need at least a 55 gallon tank to be healthy and happy. George is in a 55 gallon and Spot, my other Oscar is in a 150 gallon. :)

Oscar never liked to play. But Mango LOVES to play on his own. He playes with a plastic bird chain link.. its oranges aswell & he goes nuts over it :)

Do you just hang it n his tank or put it on the bottom? I've never tried to put anything else but a ball in their tanks.

it just floats on the top of the water. Mango will bit it & swim all over with it. I had more links, but due to the move I've miss placed them... They use to be tied to a rock. he would attack them & drag them all over his tank. It was funny to watch

Wow! 150 gallons! I'd have to give up my refrigerator or couch to find room for that! Guess I'll just have to stick to my smaller fish and enjoy seeing your big guys! :D
