I am in the Florida panhandle and was afraid the hurricane would hit us head on for days. I had the boys and girls ready to head out up north if we needed to leave. Now I know people in La had pets and may need help with them, I am able to take in a few till the owners can take them back. My problem is I can't find an agency with a phone number or web addy that I can call or e-mail to let them know I can help. Anyone know who to get ahold of here. We don't have any shelters around my area. (I am in the woods) All I can find are places to take money donations or food, clothing etc. but nothing about the lost, scared and homeless pets. The nearest city is Panama City, they know of nothing and not to worried of animals right now.

I would call the ASPCA or MSPCA and i'm sure they will direct you in the right direction. i'm sure it really does'nt matter where they are that your calling because there all involed in the effort.

Thank you. The aspc I was looking at only wants money that I can tell so far. I am going to try to get ahold of a live person.
