I've been busy working on the nursery for our baby girl who will hopefully be home within the next 6 months or so. Today Chloe discovered one of the storage baskets in the room and had to do a little quality control testing.

I couldn't get a good shot of it in the same picture, but the ribbon on the basket matches Chloe's nose.

SMOOCHES for Chloe. I still love how kitties find the most ordinary things to make beds out of. Congrats on the soon to be adoption and I would love to see more pictures of your kitties.

We are adopting from China, and are in the middle of what is affectionately known as "the long wait." We should get our referral in December or January, and travel in February or March.

I feel like such a bone head! I was planning on getting some of those baskets for our nursery (once we start it) and didn't even think that our boys might be interested in them. Now, thanks to Chloe, I'm fully prepared!

Chloe, I'm sure you're going to be a great sister!

Chloe is getting in her practice for when her new little sister comes along! Chloe needs to have these things down 'pat', so she can show the little one how it is done!

Those baskets were one of our first baby gifts. They were given to me as an end of the school year present by the mom of one of my Pre-K students. They have been in the closet for awhile, and I just took them out when hubby and I got the bookshelf finished. I knew they would be cat magnets as soon as I put them out. She hasn't bothered the one that I already have stuff in. I guess I need to figure out what I am going to put in that one if I want her to leave it alone. Right now, though, it isn't a problem. Isn't that what lint rollers are for?:)

But of course! ;-) Besides, it's not fully useful, unless the cats have given their full blessings, correct?
