I'm selling this antique scale that's been in my family for a long time. It's brass and wood. I don't have room for it in my apartment and thought about selling it on ebay. Unfortunately I don't have any credit cards, which is what they require.

Here's a picture of it:

Anyone interested? I'll take the best offer.

Do you have any more information about it? Perhaps a label on the bottom. Does it come with weights? How big is it?

It doesn't come with any weights. The base is 14" long by 7 1/2" wide and 1/2 inch deep. The post from base to tip is 16 1/4 inches. Unfortunately there's no label on it. Not sure what kind of wood, although I think it may be maple. I remember my Mom using it as an ornament on our coffee table with rubber fruit it in it.

I checked around and found out it's an English Brass Scale with Mahogany stand from the late 19th Century. I found one just like it on ebay. The only thing is mine doesn't have any markings on it like the one on ebay does.
