the smell of cat pee out of a carpet? The basement door accidentally got left shut and the cats couldn't get to their litter boxes. They made a corner their bathroom instead. I can still smell the pee on the carpet. How do I get it out?

OR TRY WALMART,AS MY FRIEND CHRISTINE GOES THERE,WHERE HER DOGS,HAVE ACCIDENTS,AND THEY ARE LESS EXPENSIVE!

After soaking up as much as I can with an old towel, I have used pure vinegar! I just buy a large container, and then I put my fingers over the top and "sprinkle" it on the area. It has always worked for me. You may need to open a window to get some fresh air in! Good luck.
