Free webhosters

Does anyone know of any good, free webhosters? My old Geocities one was AWFUL! They all have that side ad thing, and a new ad pops up everytime you cluck a link. I have already finished my site on word, now I have to get it up!

Wish I knew. I have Tripod --- and that too is awful. Not ot mention it leaves behind spyware. You get what you pay for. Many people will host you for $5 a month now. Its just my cheapo self justfying wanting a site bad enough to pay for it.

I got my own domain through magicomm.net. It isn't free but their cheapest deal was $1 every month and $9 every year for a domain. With the $1 plan, you get 200mbs of space! Way more than most people need. :D
