I finally have my vacation photos ready from my trip down to North Carolina a few weeks ago.
I already posted photos of my visit with Logan in the meetings section, you can see them over there.

This is my in-laws new house where we stayed.

We went up to Chimney Rock Park.

It was a very hot day even in the mountains.

Elevation!:)

There were a lot of stairs, my legs really hurt the next day.

We had lunch at Lake Lure.

They filmed the movie Dirty Dancing at this lake.

It's a very pretty lake.

On another day we saw a beautiful waterfall.

On another day we visited the Biltmore Estate.

It was so beautiful just like a castle.

The Vanderbilts have over 8,000 acres of land here.

We couldn't take photos inside so I only have photos from outside.
Here are some of the gardens.

More of the gardens.

It was a really hot day so we didn't get to visit all of the grounds.

Another day we went window shopping and I saw the cutest kitty.

The same store also had these cuties.

That's all the photos for now.
I will start another thread with photos from our tour of the Bristol Motor Speedway later.:)

Thanks for sharing your vacation photos with us. Your in-laws have a very nice new home. Did you enjoy the Biltmore Estate. Would you recommend going there? My mom loved it and always tells me that I need to go see it.

Zoe, your pictures are wonderful!

I've only been to the Biltmore Estate one time. Scott took me there for our first anniversary and we did the candlelight tour in the evening. It was all decorated for Christmas and it was just gorgeous!!! We spent the night in the Biltmore Inn. What extravagence!!!! :) I would recommend Biltmore and the whole Asheville/Hendersonville area to anyone. It is a lovely part of NC and just an hour from here!!! :)

Yes the Biltmore is a beautiful place and something you must see if you are in the Asheville area of NC.
I forgot to post a link to the Biltmore so you can take a virtual tour of the inside of it.

It is expensive to get in but my in-laws had a membership so we got a discount and my kids all got in for free.
I would suggest to take a whole day to see everything there and try to pick a day that won't be in the 90's.
I would have loved to see more of the Horse Barn and Winery but the heat of the day really wore us all out.
Logan, I would have loved to see it at Christmastime!

I'm going to start a thread with the rest of my vacation photos from Bristol Motor Speedway in TN now.:)
