Taggert made the 2006 Dog Fancy Calendar!

This was a very tough weekend for our family. We went to Cincinnati to close up Rob's apartment - it was one of the most difficult things Ihave ever done. Tonight I was feeling pretty low and started to go out the front door for something and there was a package in it. I had been asking God all day to give me a sign that Rob was okay and that some how things were going to be okay. And there it was!

Amy had sent pictures of all 3 of hers and one of Taggert in to be in the Dog Fancy calendar this year. Taggert was very attached to Rob - there was a bond between them from the start. And when Rob got his house (which he was in the process of looking for) Taggert was suppose to go live with him.

The package had two Dog Fancy Calendars in it and said Taggert was featured on October 2! I feel it was an answer to my prayer - Rob is in heaven with God and doing okay (better than okay) and someday we will be okay again too - not the same but okay.

Thanks Amy for submitting the picture of Taggert! I am sure Rob is looking down from heaven and saying Ha,ha, MY dog made it this year!

It has been such a surprise that the dogs have been making into the calendar. I actually submitted them for the 2004 calendar, and Sadie is in this year's, now Taggert in 2006.

When I first told Rob Sadie had made 2005, and explained I had sent in pictures of our 3 and Taggert, he sadi he couldn't by one for Sadie cause they had passed over "his" dog!

Yeah for Taggert!! When I get home I'll see if I can find the orginal picture to post.

And Lut, if you (or anyone who can't get one internationally) would like one, I'll see wht I can do to send you one...PM me!

Thanks for all the kind responses. Taggert means even more to us now knowing that Rob and he were best buds. I used to tell Rob that he and Taggert were a lot alike. Both would get mad at me and instead of saying anything turn their backs on me and walk off muttering under their breaths. The rest of the time they used selected hearing to determine whether they were going to do what I asked or not.

What a wonderful message Rob sent you! I truly believe it! I hope it gave you some peace and solace. (I won't go into it now but Honest to God, my mother sent me her "promise" the other day. I nearly fainted). Anyway, Congratulations Taggert! We're so proud and thrilled that you were selected for such a cute calender! But why not? You're so very handsome!
