Trying to make a simple dinner with two Abys in the house isn't an easy task. "No!" and "Off the counter" are only taken as suggestions instead of commands.

Peaches thinks that just because the freezer door is open that there must be some shrimp coming her way. Shrimp are her most favorite food ever but it turned out to just be frozen vegetables...

Once those frozen vegetables (in soy sauce) are in a dish, it became a feeding trough

After attempting to gnaw on it, Mango decided the frozen carrot piece is more fun to play with

Not photographed: Mango trying to steal a piece of chicken, Peaches trying to steal a piece of chicken and Peaches eating the rice before we cleared the table. If they weren't so cute and sweet they would be pests!

Sweet pictures!
We never have problem with “the begging Aby” at the dinner table, but when we cook Costello starts begging terribly! We eat a lot of tuna that he loves a lot, and he hopes for tuna every time we start making dinner.

I think we can all relate to little helpers in the kitchen. LOL!!!
Too cute. :)

The profile picture of Mango is sooooooooo darn beautiful.

Awwww Geeze! What a BEAUTIFUL profile! You need to frame that!!

For some reason, my babies seem to understand when there is human food, they are not allowed on the table and counters....... at least the did before all this other stuff happened... I will find out when I ever get them home again!!

I went back and found this picture of Peaches as it is one of my favorites:p It seems to fit in the "Abys for dinner" thread since Peaches is excited about shrimps:D :D

Thanks for posting that picture of little Peachie. It is an unmodified picture of her looking excitedly at a bag of shrimp. She's so tiny and has such big eyes!

The "trough" picture is of two cats. All of Peaches but her tail is hidden behind Mango!

Either that or Mango has grown an extra tail:D

Two tails isn't unprecedented. The logo for the U.S. Navy's F-14 Tomcat fighter plane has a cat with... um... two tails!

The reason for the two tails is that the aircraft has twin rear stabilizers (tails).

We had friends here over the weekend so there was more cooking than normally. I don't know why Abys love Asian food so much? Filou didn't get the raw chicken when we were preparing Tandoori chicken, so he showed up at the table.

Next day he lured our friend Rula in giving him smoked trout. He just sits there looking cute- and never takes his eyes away from you

;)

I love that profile shot of Mango- what a handsome boy he is. And the double two-tail Aby is a special shot too:)

One other picture from dinner: Mango was camped on my shoulders while I ate dinner. I had just tapped on his paw to get him to look at the camera as he was too busy purring and relaxing. He was ready for some lap time after this picture.
