I have to tell someone.......I'm gonna be a grandma!!!!!

My son and daughter-in-law are expecting their first child. It's still very new and they aren't telling a lot of people until she goes to the doctor for the first time. That and the fact that this will probably be a high risk pregnancy. They've been trying for a while and had been told they might not be able to get pregnant. They are so excited. I'm ready to shout about it from the rooftops!

Please say a few prayers for them and for my first grandchild. Thanks.

Congratulations!!! There is nothing quite like being a grandmom as you will soon know! I hope that her pregnancy goes smoothly and in a few months you will be posting some pictures of your darling new little one. :)

She has some health problems. They told her IF she was able to get pregnant, they considered it high risk. They had also told them they might not be able to conceive naturally. They had been looking into the costs of invitro.

So when she took the first home pregnancy test and it came back positive; she went out and got another one - it came out positive too. My son was out with a group of his friends fishing . She waited until he got home (very impatiently) and presented him with the sticks. When they called her mom and I, they were both so excited they were bouncing.
