Things 1 & 2 are doing very well. It sometimes feel that they are barely growing, but I look at the pictures I took when I first brought them home, and I can tell that they are indeed getting a bit bigger.

And the explosion of spots has made each day very interesting. Thing 2 had the most spots recently, but in the past few days, quite a few have popped up on Thing 1 (especially on it's head).

Their appetites are great. They chow down on fruits and at their last cricket feeding they consumed 7 out of the 9 given.

Took a few new photos including some hi res ones to get some detail shots. Thing 1 was feeling very photogenic. Unfortunately he/she didn't fire up. Thing 2 just wanted to scale the walls so I only got 2 decent shots.

Cool, fun, and easy to care for. :D

I'd always wanted a reptile as a pet and they make great pets for beginners. :)

The most obvious difference is their tail patterns. :D

Ohh right! I didn't even notice that :o

One more question, do they have sticky-ish feet?

I can answer this one! :) LOL! They do, they LOVE to climb on glass walls, so that is why you would need a tall tank, instead of wide!

Is that right Kimmy? :p

MastiffCrazy10: I'd love to see pictures of your gecko. :)

Pam: LOL! If they knew how to dance, I'd be rich. ;)

DogLover9501: That's okay. Cresteds come in a wide variety of colors and patterns. Some do look so much alike, I have no idea how you'd tell them apart. Thing 1 & 2 tend to be the same color during the day, so if their tail patterns weren't so different, I'd probably get confused.

And Lexi_Lover is right. :) They do have sticky feet. They also have a sticky pad at the tip of their tail.

It's fun watching them walk on flat surfaces because they have to curl their toes up to keep from sticking. It's also an indicator of when they are going to jump. They'll crouch and curl their toes up. :D

buttercup132: Sorry to hear you had to rehome your crested.

I've always love to see the crestes! I can't wait to own one again someday. I'll have to find a picture of mine I had before, named zoey if you like. :)

I'm curious, in your area, does one only cost you between $30-40?

are you gonna keep their namies.. thing 1 & thing 2? :p :)

Thanks! :)

Thing 1 & 2 are temporary names since I won't know their sex until 6-9 months of age.

Lexi_Lover is on top of things. ;) Cresteds can eat crickets, baby food, fresh fruit (nothing citrus), and a powered crested gecko diet is also available.

I've been feeding mine mixed fruits I put in the blender and crickets. :D

Depending on the age, sex, and coloration, you could pay anywhere from $25 to $200.

I got these two for $25 each on sale. They were normally $50 each.
