My sneaky husband and my even sneakier friend (and pet talk resident artist.....catnapper Kim) gave me this fabulous birthday gift.

hee hee... its been driving me crazy! I thought for sure you'd be peeking through the house looking for a birthday gift! So glad you were surprised. It was all Charlie's idea and all Charlie's gift!

I also want to smack you! I needed to find out what color his yes were (couldn't tell from the photos) so I started the thread about eye color. Guess who did NOT fill out the poll and reply? :D :p

***For future notice to all PTers: ANY TIME I start a thread about eye color, who's a favorite cat, etc.... I am LOOKING for information about a cat to do a surprise portrait for someone!*** LOL

Well, Kim, his eyes look perfect to me. I just couldn't see myself answering that thread and going around the house (with pen and paper) noting all 15 cats' eye colors. :p (LOL)

I was waiting for someone to mention the matting without me stating it. Isn't it just the greatest! WOW!! That alone would take me 15 years to do correctly. It's fantastic!

LOL... I cut the oval as an experiment. Felt it closed in the bottom of the material too much, so cut a square inside the oval. Simple mat actually, but isn't it cool looking? :)

Jen SHOULD feel honored though... I HATE cutting oval mats!

I love the mat, it is a pain to cut mats in anything but a straight line.

OMG!!! Oh Jen that is a wonderful wonderful gift! Catnapper that is just stunning! I bet it was hard to do a white cat wasn't it?
