Every time Takoda would cry, he'd come runnin' to see what's going on. He would whimper. I think he was really concerned. He wouldn't stop whimpering until Takoda would stop crying.

How could anybody be afraid of you MAXIMUS? You're the sweetest boy anybody could love! I wanna meet you someday! ;) And your baby! Barbra, I love those pictures, they're adorable!

For all we know, MAXIMUS would probably lick, kiss and care for the baby more then anything! :p

Ohh now isn't that just too adorable! Reminds me so much of our Angus boy and how he was with our niece Allison.
Those big guys are just big marshmallows at heart:D

For those that missed the thread "Can anyone help me defend pitties," this is the link~~http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthread.php?s=&threadid=84835 . As you will see, I posted a pic of my six week old nephew and MAXIMUS. Just to show how sweet and gentle pitties can be. Btw, I hoped it helped out with Grama. His name is Takoda Blue. I missed a perfect shot of MAXIMUS standing on his hind legs to look at Takoda while he was still in his carrier on the kitchen table. He was so careful not to put his paws on the carrier or the table. It was so cool to see that, and I forgot to get the camera. Anyway, I just had to share these. Hope you all appreciate them. Just like "giant scary ANGUS" he is a loving marshmallow.

Oh how sweet. :D A big handsome boy that likes babies, Ginger says he sounds like the perfect guy. :)

Not only are you the studliest muffin on earth Big Guy, you are a wonderful caregiver and loving uncle to little Takoda. What a good boy you are Maximus. You know we love you. Takoda is a very handsome young man too!!:D

Reminds me of a Rottie I use to know. He just LOVED kids. He would lay down & let the kids play on him. With the kids large enough to walk around, he would let them jump on him, pull his ears & poke him in the eye. He was very protective when the babies cried, he was first on the sceen & would do this odd whimper snarl noise.
