I can't say it enough times....I'M SO HAPPY TO HAVE MY PETE MONSTER HOME!!!!:D

He is finally starting to seem like his old self again. It was very traumatic and painful for both of us but we are still doing the happy dance that he is home.

He looked so pitiful when he fist came back in.

The next three days he did a lot of this!

Yesterday and today he seems a lot perkier

You can see the cuts on his nose but they are healing fine.

Poor baby

I don't think the cuts are from fighting. Hubby and I think he was trying to pull the window back open with his paws and could only get his nose in. The corner of the window frame is probably what cut his poor little nose up.
I have no idea how long that poor baby spent on the roof. It was during a horrid heat wave and I was really concerned about his paws. Pete has very pink paw pads and I think he got burned on the roof. Af first I thought he was just dirty but this moring while he was sleeping I could see them better and the skin is peeling off. I think he was blistered. Of course when he first came in he wouldn't let me near his feet and now I can see why. Does this look like burns to you?

I know it's hard to see in the picture but I'm pretty sure that it is. He has places on all four paws. They seem to be healing fine but I will watch him carefully. He is walking great now so it must not be painful anymore.

I still fall apart and feel so guilty knowing that he was out there on the roof begging to get back in and I was oblivious!:(
I'm just so grateful that it turned out ok and thanks again for all the prayers! PETE IS HOME!!!:D

Awwww poor baby. It does look like his paws are burnt to me. I would hesitate to put anything on them since they lick their paws.
I'd check with the vet.

It does look like he may have burned his paws. I know pink paws are a bit more sensitive, but they look like they are healing and his nose too! We are all very happy to see Pete back safe and sound.

Pete is drop dead gorgeous. He appears to be on the road to recovery from his ordeal both physically and mentally.

I know it's hard with multiple cats, mine are all strictly indoors..but every so often I do a ROLE CALL, make sure everyone is present, accounted for and generally ok, but I only have four, I lost Tinkerbelle the third day I had her, (well she was lost to me, she knew where she was) she had gone behind the entertainment unit and crawled into a drawer part of it from behind (unbeknownst to me the back was accessible) and was all snuggly inside, but I was a mess looking for her for hours, little rascals.

I'm glad mommy has recovered too ;)

Oh Lisa, that first picture just breaks my heart. Talk about LES.

Poor sweet adorable baby. Those cuts look so nasty but I know that they are being well taken care of, as is his poor widdle burnt pawsies.

I am so happy to hear that he is getting back to his old self again. I don't think he will be doing that a second time.

I know no matter what we say to you Lisa to help ease your guilt, you will still feel it, even though it was no fault of yours at all.

(((((HUGS))))) to you and sweet hugs and kisses for your precious Pete.

What a sweet kitty. I'm glad he survived his time outside without too much injury. He sure looks happy curled up on the bed.

So happy to see Pete is healing nicely and relaxing again. Those poor toesies look so sore, and his purrty nose looks like it'll heal without scars.

Hopefully he'll never get the urge to investigate the outside world ever again!

I'm so glad he's back again. Now he can tell his housemates just how bad it is outside and they won't try to escape either.

Pete is as gorgeous as ever, and looks happy to be relaxing after his little adventure! I'm sure he knows where he belongs ;)

Lisa, you did everything you could have when Pete was missing and none of it was your fault!

I hope Pete Monster's nose and paws heal quickly! Please give him a big smooch for me :)
