Filou and Tigris had a busy weekend. Tigris was very happy because a big box full with books arrived and there was room enough in it for him.

After having read enough (he reads with his belly) he joined the dolls Susi, Uschi and Bella on their chair. Big baby Susi belonged to my mom when she was a child and the chair to my grandma.

He did the big meatloaf on the chair.

Filou helped in the kitchen.

He is just crazy for Asian food and likes especially the cocnut milk- of course he always gets some ;)

Of course Tigris had to squeeze himself into that box. LOL! He makes the perfect meatloaf in the chair and how sweet of him to look after the pretty dolls. ;)

I can see that Filou is a good helper in the kitchen, and therefor deserves a little treat. :)

Tigris reads with his belly!!? Wow, we have our first graduted cat on PT!! Should we be calling him Professor Tigris from now on?

Aw Filou, you are welcome in my kitchen too! My kids love asian food too, so you could help me with the recipes!!

Barbara, that kitchen-towel-holder is so cute! I've never seen that before:)

I never knew Tigris was so well read, and that he had an appreciation for antique dolls! :D He is certainly the Renaissance Cat of PT!

We don't see pictures of them often enough! A cat that has an appreciation of books & antiques and another that is a chef! You are very lucky to have such interesting babies.

These two boys are gorgeous!

Tigris thought that if he would read enough mom would empty this box... The size is OK, but books are not so comfortable for a good cat sleep!;) But of course, mom is busy in the kitchen, so there is no way she empties that box right now...well the chair is fine too!:D

Filou, what a good helper you are! Cat supervision is part of a successfulo recipe! My Peppito did not try yet Coconut milk, but now he wants to try too!

Dear TIgris,

I read the same way....through my belly....but I only like reading things at the same time as Blondie. But....do you think posing with dolls is good for your macho image?

Your little brother sure is cute. He kinda looks like a little doll himself!

Regards

Eddie

Barbara you don't post pictures of your two often enough for me, but when you do come through it is always a treat! These were so much fun to see, and I am impressed with Tigris being able to read through his tummy. Now that is one very clever little boy! ;)

Boys, I think you may be working too hard. The weekends are for resting! Perhaps you should take it easy for a few weeks.

Thanks for the cool photos Barbara. I love your two kitties so even though I have never met them. Filou reminds me of my Grammy Crackers guy and I love Tigris' fur and big body, compared to Filou.

Great photos and stories.

Oh boy, Tigris and Filou pictures! It's always such a treat to see these two. :D

Tigris, you are really amazing, reading through your belly and all. Wonder if there is better comprehension on a full tummy or an empty one. ;) :D

And Filou, what a good little kitchen helper you are!

So nice to see you two again. :D

It always amazes me that they can read by furmosis It is amazing the talents that furkids have. They are both exquisite creatures. I would love to know what breed they are.

Filou is an Abyssinian, Tigris' dad was Abyssinian and his mom Siberian. :)

The boys are definitely working too hard and I know what they need - a vacations with their girlkitties ;) on a seashore, to relax, have canned food served all day, shrimp salads, clam juice....

(I think I am not really back from MY vacation :) )

Lovely pictures. It's tough to prepare any kind of food with an Aby around 'cause they have to sample everything! And want to help... and they seem to eat anything!

Dear Barbara,

Does Tigris really get to help you in the kitchen? I try and try to help my mom, but she always says "get down, Butter". :( I wish she would let me help!

Filou is very smart! I can only try to appear to be as smart as he is!!! :)

Love,
Butter
