Emma is missing :( :( :(

I've been shaking temptations inside and out for the past 30 minutes, and have searched the entire house. She's usually running to me within 5 seconds!

I know that Tigger pushed the screen out at 4-5 AM this morning, Emma was here with me around 11, and the screens been back in since then.

Some of my family have been coming and leaving, and I'm afraid she got out :( She's wearing her new pink collar, and I've been worried about it getting caught, she's an indoor cat so I didn't worry about this when I bought it...:(

Please pray for Emma :(

Come back Emma! Hopefully she's just napping somewhere. Is it possible that she got locked in a closet or something?

Still no Emma :(

I've checked closets, all the upstairs and downstairs, behind/under couches, chairs..etc.

I've checked the yard :( The flower gardens, the backyard, as it's fenced, and just everywhere.

I seen something with wavy brown/black patterns in the woods and ran over to a piece of wood, Im going crazy :(

As you check each room in the house, close the door behind you so she can't sneak in there.

Check out this site - Finding Lost Pets (http://www.catsinthebag.org/)

Indoor cats who get out stick really close to the house. Quietly walk around and look into any nooks, corners, etc. Be calm - she will sense panic.

Oh no :( I really hope you find her soon! Keep checking, she might be in bushes or hiding somewhere on your street.
I'll be praying for her safe return..

Am keeping fingers & paws crossed to wish you luck in finding Emma; I know what an awful feeling it is when they disappear.

TRY to remain calm and look everywhere...sometimes they squirm in places that you'd never think to look in.

Omg! Emma was up inside the reclining chair somehow! She was sleeping when I seen her, I can't believe she didn't come out for treats, she was so close to me!

I started crying when I found her, she nearly gave me a heart attack!

Now Tigger is outside eating her food, and all the temptations I put around the yard thinking it was all for him  :p

I'm so happy to have Emma sitting on top of the computer right now. Why do they do this? ;)

*Big Happy Sigh* Phew! I'm so sorry for worrying everyone!

PPPPHHHHHEEEEEWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!

YYYYYYAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!

I am so happy to come into this thread during the happier time.
I am so glad you found that precious girl.
Emma, bad, bad girl for scaring meowmie and us like that, but I'm so darn happy that you were found.

Don't you just hate it when they find a good hiding place and decide to not come out for nothing. I can just picture them peeking around from where they are hiding and saying, "Look at that meowmie of mine going crazy trying to find me. Oh Yawn, maybe I'll just stay here a little longer as I know when I let her find me, I will be smothered in wet kisses and given treats." :D

Cats, you just gotta love em. :)

Glad you found her, I don't think I could stand another lost cat weekend. Isn't it annoying when you can walk within a few inches of them and they will stay silent. Mine does it all the time (gets lost) but he's never been outside, it's amazing the amount of hiding places the little devils can find.

Reminds me of the day that Rie thought Chester had got out and she was hysterical! Had the whole neighborhood out looking for him, she was crying and so upset that she was about to throw up.... He too, had found one of those hiding places in the house and didn't come when called... NOT until his nap was over! :D

Robyn I'm sorry I saw this late but at the same time I'm glad because now I know Emma is safe and sound! *SHEW*!! As you know I just went through this with Pete and I could feel your pain in the first few posts. I certainly understand that frantic and terrified feeling.

I'm so glad you found Emma so fast and you didn't have to worry any longer than you did. It scares you to death when that happens. Brats! :)

Emma, you come when your meowmie calls!! Bad girl!!:p

Filou is a specialist in hiding like that. I can't tell you how often I searched the cellar or even the streets for him and he just was there- in invisible mode:)

So glad Emma is ok:)

Thanks so much everyone!

I can't believe she didn't come out, whenever I shake temptations she's usually at my feet in seconds!

Atleast she got to have a nice long nap, while I was having a heart attack  :D

Silly girl Emma, you come when you are called.:p Lighting does that often, too-find a great new hiding spot and make you search for hours. One time he was up on my brother's bed for and hour, blending in with his stuffed animals. I swear I checked there three times at least! Next time Emma-come when you are called-even if it's against your cat rules. :p
