My Son's Haircut ;)

Well, he did it! He cut his hair:eek: . I was quite shocked when my son came to me and told me he was going to cut his hair off. I couldn't believe it. Its been a long time since that boy has had a haircut;). He said that while he liked the look of his long hair, he was tired of it. The long hair was hot and a pain in the butt to take care of and he said it was time for a change. Since he had so much of it he decided to donate it to Locks Of Love. (http://www.locksoflove.org/) I think that is pretty cool. He said all the girls at the salon gathered around to watch him have it done...lol..he thought it was strange that they made a big deal out of it. He said it didn't bother him a bit when she cut his ponytail off and when he walked out he couldn't believe how much cooler he felt. He says now he can just shower and go! He doesn't have to worry about combing all that hair out.

He looks great! I personally like shorter hair. It doesn't have to be as short as all that, but, I've never been into really long hair on guys. Cuz if it's taken care of, it's beautiful....but, the first thought in my mind is, man, it probably takes him longer to get ready than me. ;) And, that drives me crackers! And, if it's not taken care of, it's just gross. Don't get me wrong, his hair was gorgeous! My brother has long hair, and, it's very nice. Just not my preference. I think his new, clean look is definitely hotter, even if it is actually cooler.

WOW! That had to be a hard thing for him to do. Congratulations to him for donating it to Locks of Love. What an awesome thing to do. My nephew, who is 28, wears his hair like your son in the *before* picture. To be totally honest, I wish he would do the same thing that you son has done. Pretty much, at least in these parts, the shorter hair is more in style. I don't see anyone with hair the length of my nephew's these days.

Your son's new hair cut is very similar to the way my son wears his hair. Next thing he will probably start using gel! LOL! My hubby and my son both use more hair products on their hair than I do! LOL!

PS: As a native Philadelphian, I love his shirt! LOL!

I loved the long hair, but I agree it's much cooler (same reason I keep cutting mine) and it looks great short...like I said last night...CUTE:D

I think the short look is much more becoming! (Do you use that word to describe men? LOL).

The difference to me is like this:

Before pic: you see long hair on a young man.

After pic: you see a young man with nice looking features.
