Took my little man on his first train ride on Saturday - what a good boy he was! Made lots of news friends too! Here he is at the family fun day

Toby's such a cutie! They let him ride on the train?

They certainly did and free of charge! He sat on my lap the whole time looking out of the window or accepting praise from everyone else in the carriage!!

Oh good boy, Tobey. It sounds like it was fun. :) Maybe Mom will let you go to another special event soon.

Also found that since having Tobey sooo many people want to stop and chat. Usually start with "what breed is he" and goes on from there........Naturally, his highness performs brilliantly, just loves attention. A homeless guy approached me in Brighton just to ask what Tobey was and I ended up buying him a cup of tea (very British!) and a sandwich.......guilible or soft hearted?

Not gullible...very kind. I've done it myself. I know if so some reason I found myself in that situation I would be more than grateful for the kindness of strangers. You may have bought him his first bite of food in days. Good for you. :) I noticed the pics you attached said Milan 2005 015 and Milan 2005 014. Did you take Tobey to Italy? I know that sounds ridiculous but wishful thinking I guess. We are taking our girls with us to Italy and I was hoping someone could tell me what I need for them to enter the E.U.

I just love the second attached photo of Tobey! His little ear is flipped over and he looks so happy to be able to go on a little outing! I would love to be able to take my girl on a train...or to even take myself on one....but I think it would be a little difficult to hold her on my lap...lol

LOL!! I was gonna ask you that! I mean, I know that he is a terrier, but which one? Austrailian, Norfolk, etc. I am not too good with terrier breeds:rolleyes:

Tobey looks like he had so much fun!--he is so cute too! Have fun on your next trip with him!

Nothing so adventurous I'm afraid - my daughter gave the photos the wrong file names when she down loaded them

Tobey is a Patterdale terrier.

Can't wait to take him on holiday to Dorset at the end of August (there will be photos!)

Not this time but we live in Eastbourne so have taken him to the sea a couple of times - tends to paddle and bark at it!

It's no wonder people are drawn to ask about Tobey, he's such a handsome pup with those bright friendly eyes and terrier coat. If I saw you and Tobey, I'd want to meet and talk about him too :D.

Tobey would like to thank you all for your kind words - he had a great day and thought you'd like to see how he spent Saturday evening...........
