We went to a dog show today, not really a proper one - it's open to all breed. Snowy did me proud, she showed herself beautifully. She stood nicely and also walked to heel which was a major improvement to her first show but unfortunately that wasn't enough to impress the judge, she didn't win any rosette.

I didn't think the judge was fair but ofcourse I would say that, wouldn't I? :D but serriously I wasn't impressed when the judge had to ask a handler what breed her rough collie was. If she didn't even know the breed how would she know the standard? :p

Anyway here are some pictures from the show:

Look at how pretty she stood :)

this is the waggiest tail competition.
Snowy stood beside her friend Daisy.
Neither Snowy nor Daisy wagged their tails :D

so many young handlers - they were really good.

George the black labrador is another friend of Snowy.
He was 2nd most handsome dog
but I think he should be the first.

More pictures on the next post...

Snowy is certainly turning out to be a shining star at these shows, rosette or no rosette. I love how she is looking up at you in the one picture...waiting for further instructions perhaps.

And I would like to express the same thought that Sandra has indicated. Our hearts are deeply saddened by the senseless loss of life of your fellow citizens of the United Kingdom as well as the feelings of loss of security and safety which ripples out to all corners of the earth.

I have to agree with you, the judge made an error. Snowy looks absolutely gorgeous - you must be so proud of her! Fun to see the pictures of her friends and sister, too. Keep on showing!
*We're praying for all the familys affected by the bombings, such a sad event*

Looks like the dogs behaved well. I hope you had fun, too. I can't believe that judge didn't know all the breeds. I don't think they should have been allowed to be a judge.
