Digital Camera Editing

I was wondering what program ya'll used to edit digital videos. I have a few videos that are kinda long and some of it needs to be cut out to make it better..

Does anyone have any idea how I could edit the video so that I could cut off some of the end of it?

If you have XP, you have Windows Movie Maker. Here is a tutorial on how to use it to post videos on PT

If you are not running windows XP as I am not, you can try vitualdub. And AVI-MPEG-ASF-WMV Splitter.
