AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

I hate this! I refuse to take a Benadryl because everytime I pop one in, I drop dead on the couch 20 minutes later. So now, my nose is completely stuffed up and I'm breathing solely through my mouth (which, by the way, is causing some chapped lips :p). Has anybody tried non-drowsy Claritin? Does it really work?

Are there any NATURAL alternative solutions?

Clariton works a lot better than Benadryl and it wont make you sleepy.

Feel better. :)

Claritin should help a great deal. Have you tried Sudafed??

Ok, I'm going down right now to buy some Claritin. Nope, haven't tried Sudafed. Isn't that just like Tylenol....cold-relief stuff? Hey...actually, I might just take some Tylenol right now. Thanks for the suggestions. I'm going through this box of Kleenex like crazy.

Claritin (and the loratadine(sp?) otc equivalents work well withough knocking me out.

Sudafed works well also, but you either have to take doses every 4 hours or get the 12 hour pills.

Sudafed is actually a decongestant, not an antihistamine. In other words, Sudafed isn't for allergies, but is helpful for the sinus problems allergies can cause.

If you're stuffed up, you probably need the sudafed.

I like Sudafed (the little red pills) for everyday use.

Oh jeez. I found a little bottle of Claritin, and I don't think it was non-drowsy. :(

Oh well, now I know I need Sudafed. Will get that first thing tomorrow.

I believe Claritin is the only anti-histamine marketed to not cause drowsiness. :)

Reactine+Sinus formula. I used to take Claritin but it stopped working for me. The Reactine works like a charm.

You're right. I took a Claritin at 10 pm, and didn't go to sleep until 5 am, only to be woken up at 9 am. I took a Benadryl to try and combat the non-drowsy effect (wow, how often do you hear that?) but it apparently did not work. Now, I'm trudging around like a drunken fool. And WHOO HOO! I'm going mini-golfing in a few hours. I'm gonna sleep well tonight!

Have you talked to a doctor or allergist?

If not try them, if you still act up check out an ear/nose/throat doctor, that's what my b/f had to do with his constant stuffiness, he's sooo unstuffednose right now :)
