Cold remedies..... [Archive]

Does anyone have any tried and true cold remedies that don't involve scotch and a microwave...(don't ask) lol

I have a nasty cough and 6 days to get rid of it. Who can help? :D

SLEEP!

Seriously, sleep as much as possible. Treat the symptoms with sinus/nasal meds, if you have a cough take Tussin. Mostly, LOST of fluids, treat the symptoms, and SLEEP! If you're lucky, it won't take 6 days.

Sleep and try getting some extra vitamin C.

Fisherman's Friends Extra Strength Cough Drops... They work for me every time... Pretty STRONG tasting... I think that's why they work so well.;)

You could also try making a Ginger Root, Honey, Lemon, small dash of Cayenne Pepper tea.

Combine ingredients in pot with water simmer...
