Having fun on a rainy afternoon

It has rained and rained here for the previous two nights. It started up again this afternoon. We live on a golf course which has provided lots of entertainment for the children who have rolled down the hills on the fairways, have sledded down the slopes on ice or snow, and today a new thing.......a boogie board and lots of water. Our golf course NEVER has any water on it, but we have had enough rain to make it fun for Helen. Just look at her slipping down the hills in a stream of water that went partially up the calf of my leg when I stood in it! :eek:

Immediately I thought of Davidp and what he would think about maintaining the golf course after a rain like that.

Logan, I gotta tell you - after the winter I went through with the rain - you can have all of it!!

Gina, it was quite warm, probably mid 80's during the storm. In other words HOT and HUMID!!!! :)

You know, I thought about the poor guys that will have to deal with the aftermath of all this rain on the golf course. In fact, this club has 2 eighteen hole courses to maintain and from the looks of it, the other course may have had more water than ours because it is not nearly as sloping. We were out in the car last night and the other course looked like a lake! :eek:

DavidP, if you see this, I guess you can be glad you don't do course maintenance at Pebble Creek! :D
