Since my digiatal camera has been fixed, I've been posting a lot of pictures today! (There are some of Snowy in Dog General)

I was in another small school show about 2 weeks ago. I did good (I guess) I got 2nd place. I didn't get the horse I wanted so I was kind of worried. Also, there were 10 people riding the same horse I was, Joker, all before me! He was so tired by the time I got on him that he listened perfectly. (Which is pretty amazing for him! :p )

Before I got on him. He kept trying to attack the camera...

Trying to move him away from that other horse, Mac. The girl riding Mac rode him right up to Joker (Mac's nose was almost up his butt...) and Joker bucked. So I kind of lost my seat.

And this is the last picture! After we got off. My mom thinks this is the best one. (There are a ton more that I'm not posting)

I was supposed to do jumping, too but all the classes were full by the time I went to sign up. (I waited until the last day, not smart:o )

Sorry the pictures were blurry, my mom was the photographer, not me! :D

Congrats! Where do you ride? Wedgewood only has a school show once a year but they skipped 2 years in a row. Is that Palatine? Anyway 2nd is really good!:D

Congrats on 2nd!! I like the last picture too! I love showing horses too.

Just wondering, dont you guys have to dress up and stuff?? Or do you go to a riding school or something, where you just compet with people from there, so you dont have to dress up??

Thanks everyone!

Suki- I do ride at Palatine, I rode at Wedgwood for two years, though.

This was just a school show, so I didn't have to dress up. It is more of a practice for the real shows. :)

Do you like it at Palatine? I might start going there when Idon't have a ride to WW beacuse now it is in Waukonda (:() Do they let you just come in and pay to ride a horse for an hour or half hour? WW does that.

I don't think they let you do that. But I do love Palatine, I like it much better then WW. (But I haven't seen where WW moved to).

BTW, How are Dakota and Charity doing?

Well, they stoped giving pony rides (thank goodness, I hated those) and so Dakoda was bought by a family who basically treats them like their gigantic puppy! and Charity is almost retired to the pasture (they have several now) but is still used for walk-trot lessons occasionally, otherwise everyone is fine. Someone bought Mohawk and Squire, I think.

I'm glad Dakota and Charity are doing good! Them and Bailey were the only school horses when I rode there!
