Earlier this month I got Kia the kiddie pool I've always wanted to get her. She's not as enthusiatic about it as I had hoped. I guess the mud puddles and swamp smell better. :rolleyes:

But she does jump in and out of it occasionally while running around the yard. For the most part, she'll only get in it if I stand in it. :p Ah well.

Another pool, Bon says...COOL! :D

He says they're fun and they cool you down in this hot weather!

That is such a great idea to cool them down! Gosh, I wish that worked for cats! ;)

Great pool, Kia! I think its cute you prefer your mom in there with you. :)

I just love those eyes...she's beautiful. I don't think MAXIMUS has ever been in clean water, well, like a pool. Just creeks, the lake, and our backyard lake when it storms. Do you think he'd react the same way?

What sweet pictures. I love that last one!:D I keep looking at Walmart for a pool like that for my fur kids but I can't find one.:(

Kia is sooo cute!! I love her dinosaur pool ;)

jeez, the vid totally reminds me of how Gonzo runs around... I think Kia has BC in her ~_~

Awww! What a lucky girl!!! I'm sure she'll be ready to "swim" for real in no time!!!

My girls are jealous...they want a pool too (well, one their own size) - but probably only to drink out of though

Maybe Kia will love her pool more with time. Nebo wasn't that interested in the kiddie pool we filled up at Kay's house....but at home when he's been running and it's hot outside he'll go nuts splashing, turning in circles and biting at the water. Try putting some fun stuff for her to "fish" for in it....ice cubes, baby carrots, etc.......Nebo loves carrot fishing lol. I love the pic of Kia looking up at you, her eyes are so gorgeous. The video is adorable too. :)

Thanks for the suggestions Amy. We'll have to give those a try.

We have a feeling she might be interested in it today, since it's going to be 96 degrees. ;)

Bigyummydog, I say if Max likes water, then give a pool a whirl. :)

Sounds like Samantha - not as enthusiastic as I'd hoped and will only run "through" it or get in if I'm in... but she still has fun- I'm sure Kia will too!

Looks like a great way to cool off, Kia ;)

We put a pool out for Katie and Tori. Threw a kong in there and neither one of them went near it...lol. Tori walkes up against the house to stay as far away from it as possible. Yesterday morning I was letting them back in the house before I left for work and I noticed the kong wasn't in the pool. Both girls came running and were wet and muddy :rolleyes: . I still haven't seen them put a single foot in that water..lol.
