Shadow and Annie BOTH had appointments with the Vet. today, as well as their big brother, Oreo. (His will be posted in the dog general section).

Shadow was first:

He got a shot: http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid174/p063e634183fa6c9d671136f980fbd439/f3930341.jpg

Then he got his nails clipped: http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid174/p8c8964a0a1321d059671762f3ad2b68e/f3930371.jpg

He weighed in at a WHOPPING 5.9 POUNDS!

He has an appointment with the Vet. again tomorrow, to get "fixed"! He doesn't know it yet, so PLEASE don't tell him!

Annie's pictures and report coming up........

Then it was Annie's turn:

The Vet. checked her over thoroughly:

She got her nails clipped:
http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid174/p4b6a4f10cc1e9fd1e835126589a7fad8/f3930351.jpg

She got her mouth and teeth checked:http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid174/p06ae69ab1e55959c4041149589257b87/f393036b.jpg

She got her first shot. And the Vet. was VERY PLEASED with how well her left eye is looking. The Vet. said she didn't think Annie would have ANY vision in that eye the first time she checked it. Now she thinks Annie WILL have some usable vision out of that eye after all. The white reflection from Annie's left eye in the pictures I posted yesterday are most likely from the scarring that has developed on her cornea. And our Little Orphan Annie weighed in at a WHOPPING 2.4 POUNDS today!:)

What terrific pictures!! Glad Shadow and Annie had good check ups and glad to hear that it looks as though Annie will have some vision in that eye. We won't say a word to Shadow about where he is going tomorrow. Boy you are brave taking 2 cats and a dog all in one visit. Did you do this by yourself?

The vet didn't mind you taking pics? It is great to see them getting the checkups. I am very glad both are doing well and growing like weeds. And I promise I won't tell Shadow about the fixing thing. You just better hope he doesn't get access to the computer before tomorrow.

Good luck with the fix tomorrow. Shadow will be in my thoughts.

My son helped me take them all to the Vet. He's the one in the red shirt that you see bits and pieces of in some of the pictures of Oreo in the Dog General section. And no, the Vet. didn't mind my taking pictures. She encourages it, and even posed for the check of Little Orphan Annie's mouth again when I didn't catch it the first time. I'm going to get a couple more pictures on here of my son holding Annie last night. She was laying on her back, in his arms. It was so cute! I've got to go find them.............

Glad the vet trip went so well. I did have to chuckle at the "whooping low weight" wish we heard those words at our vet visit. 15.6 lbs average we heard LOL
