If you don't want to fill ALL prescriptions, then don't work there. I could say so much on this. It's one of my many pet peeves.

If you've got a perscription for it, then obviously a doctor felt it necicary for a person to have it. Pharmacists arent MDs, therefore they shouldn't be acting like them.

There should be a criminal charge or something against these wackos.

I used to work in a pharmacy for 5.5 years. You would not believe how many doctors would write Rx's for what seemed no good reason. It's not the pharmacist's fault. Unless he can prove the Rx is a fraud, he has to fill it. I think some of the MD's get paid on the side to write these crappy Rx's. We had a local MD who would give her Physician Assisstant a Rx pad with the Rx's signed and the PA would go the strip club and write the strippers Rx's for XANAX!!!!! No medical chart needed or anything. Needless to say the MD is now in trouble. Some MD's if you whine and B**** enough to them will write ya whatever ya want, they don't want to get in trouble and lose patients. It's all a huge mess our healthcare system. What happened to the good ol days when doctor's actually took time with you and listened to you??? Well it's the HMO's and insurance companies fault because they mandate how long you can visit the MD. It sucks royally. I hate going to the doctor because I know I will be in and out in 5 minutes with a RX and no real answers.

And yes sad as it may seem...Medicaid does pay for Viagra!!!! So that means in our state (FL) all of us taxpayers are paying for these ass***** Viagra. A lot of insurance companies pay for Viagra too. The sad part is that also a lot of insurance companies don't pay for birth control for the women, just as the cartoon states. Hmm let's think about this...pay for Viagra for the men(some who don't need it, they just want it) and not for birth control for the responsible women out there. Sick sick sick. As you can see I can getting pretty heated about this. Medicaid should be for those who genuinely need it..not those women out there who get pregnant on a whim without knowing who the father is...then have kid after kid all the while we are paying for it. I vote we should be paying to get her tubes tied!!!!
