I Got To Visit My Future Baby Yesterday!

Hi, yesterday AmberLee and I got to go visit with my future new baby Starr.:) He's in with 2 other kittens which are named Mikey,black male kitten, and Bell, grey female kitten. Unfortunately they all have coccidia.:( You'd never know it by looking at them because they all look very healthy and they're eating, playing, and drinking a lot too. Here are some pictures.

When my litter had coccidia, they seemed OK except for the diarrhea (that is really bad). But with consitant medication, they get over it.

OMG!!!!!!! Starr is just too adorable. He is such a pretty widdle boy and the other kitties are sooo cute.

Just out of curiousity, why haven't you been able to bring him home yet? I mean, you can get a kitty from a foster home, a rescue organization and even the pet shops when they are 8 weeks old. Is it because he is sick?

Is it because he is sick? Yes, you can adopt a kitten when it 8 weeks old but he's hasn't been neutered yet. There's now a new law in California that says that shelters and rescue groups can't adopt out their animals until they're fixed. They used to be able to hand out vouchers so that the adoptees could use these later on to spay or neuter them but now they're unable to do this. The foster mom wants to wait until Starr is at least 2lbs before he's neutered and he's only about 1 and 3/4lbs so he's almost there. She also said that his coccidia shouldn't hinder his neutering and that I should be able to have him by the 4th of July weekend.:) If he's still sick, she'll give me some more Albon to give to him but hopefully he'll be over it by then because I'd hate for my other furkids to get sick too.

Starr is a gorgeous little one (LITTLE one is right!) and Belle & Mikey are adorable. I used to have a little Mikey who looked exactly like this Mikey............:(

His eyes are beautiful and I know you two will both be so happy when he comes to his furrever home.

It was great to have the opportunity to play with Starr, Belle, and Mikie. They are all adorable.

Hi, Starr's foster just e-mailed me and told me that he has an appointment on Monday to be neutered. If all goes well, I should be able to pick him up on Friday or Saturday and finally bring him home.:D I can't wait!!!:D

Congratulations to the newest Meezer mama.
Coccidia is pretty common. My foster kittens have it more often than not.
You really don't want him home with it. That is some seriously stinky poop, and it's all over the place.

The reputation of flame point males is they are big lovers!
I just had a little flame guy, last month, that lived up to that reputation exactly!
