As I was seaching for baby pictures for another thread, I came across a picture of Dylan from two years ago. This is the picture they had of him on petfinders. Somebody did not want him anymore because he was "fat". He had chunks of fur shaved out - I guess because of mats. You can see a piece missing under his chin. He had already lived there for six months and was deemed "hard to place". To me, he was just what I was looking for and when I picked him up, he hugged me:D I am so glad to have found him!!

But now, he has grown to be healthy, gorgeous and my sweetheart!! He has the most gentle and sweet personality:) I am sad that somebody decided he was no longer wanted...because also happy because that meant *I* could have him:D:D

Debbie, I just love Dylan!

I, too, am so happy that you found him! I'm sure he doesn't even remember those people who didn't want him anymore, as one of the best people out there *did* want him :D And he never has to know the feeling of being unwanted again!

It is very hard to think of our beloved pets as someone else's trash, but they are all now loved. Dylan was just waiting for you (that is why no one picked him from the shelter.)

They gave him up because he was to fat? OMG that is so mean. That is what makes Dylan, Dylan. I love his body shape. It fits him perfectly. Well at least now you have your orange boy and *gasp* spoil him rotten. Which he does deserve. He is such a handsome boy. Give him big hug and kiss for me please Debbie.

The reasons people give up their pets!!!!!! They just NOT were comitted to him and probably had another they turned in when it grew up.... But aren't you glad they did?????

I tell Chester often is was a funny way God sent him to me but we each have our own "experiences" in life that we have to go through. I don't know who had Chester first or why they dumped him, I am just grateful that he is now MINE and feel like he was always meant to be mine (and Rie's), just took a few detours getting here.

Dyland had his own path to take to get where he belonged too.
(Wouldn't you just LOVE to have those idiots see him now?)

Lucky Dylan! And, lucky you!

Yes, in the first picture he looks unhappy. Voila, have someone who loves you and amazingly, you are happy and LOOK happy.

Dylan is a beautiful cat and I can't imagine anyone not wanting him because he was 'fat'. Like his previous person was perfect???

Give him a hug from me; that beautiful boy deserves it!

I can't get over the poor excuses that people use to get rid of their animals.

Their loss and your gain, right Debbie.:D

Dylan is such a handsome hunk and I'm so glad that he is your's, because we get to see him.:D
