Last week I had visitors who wanted to go to Legoland. The sculptures are amazing (although I thought the park overpriced and the rides rather lame....)

There is a Legoland in California too?? Wow, I didn't know!

Love the tabbies on the tree- I had no idea what all you could make out of Legos. We have a Legoland here too but I never went.

Although lego is a danish company, I've never played much with it, but of course, in my childhood, there weren't all that much. It's amazing what they've done since!

I love the cat in the tree. :)

Great pictures.:) I've never been there but my brother and his family and my parents have been there several times. I think my brother buys a season pass for his kids.:)

Phew, are you all right, Sara, after being swallowed by that fierce lion??! I love all the animals, how cute!

The Lego sculptures I have seen have mainly been big castles or vehicles of some kind. All I remember building with mine is houses; white L-shaped bungalows with red roofs. Either I didn't have too many bricks or I am just imaginatively challenged.

Gosh that man in the kilt is tall! That's probably why you had to pay so much to get in. It must be very expensive to have your kilts specially made and not get them "off the shelf". :D

WOW! I have led a sheltered life. I never knew there was such a place as Legoland! Totally amazing! This is a far cry from the things I used to help my kids construct. Actually they were better at it than I was. LOL! Was that you inside the lion's mouth on the way down to his tummy? :p

Very cool!

The cats in the tree look like Eddie and Edwina. :D

At the Star Wars conventions Lego will usually have a booth. This year they had a life size Chewbacca and Vader.

Karen....

Was this the type of cottage you would build?

:D :D I'm fairly sure I didn't have windows that shape. I don't think that cottage would have fitted on my roadway.

Its amazing what you can do with Legos!! The best I ever did was a little pathetic house, and it broke inmediately!

The cat in the tree looks like Jimmy D. (short for Jimmy Durante), a stray cat I feed.

Maybe you should get the E's some Legos to express their creativity! :D
