Wow, that dahlia is beautiful...and so is Micah. :)
It's so good to hear that you've settled in....plants really do make a difference.

My deck only gets about 4 hours of sun in the summer (from 6am to 10am) then shade the rest of the day so I can't grow much. This year I have a tub full of herbs....basil, rosemary, chives and parsley. They are doing OK so far.

The dahlia is very pretty. And your cats are too! :)

I have a balcony, but since my parents build this house 17 years ago the balcony is very shaky and feels like it collapse while your up there. I'm kind of scared to stay out there for too long. :o

The apartments behind my house have balconys and there are five in a row that have beautiful flowers filling each balcony. It smells really good when you walk past! ;)
