My Big Girl Isn't Feeling Well :( :(

My Katie girl isn't feeling well today. I came home from work to a bit of a mess. She has had diarrhea and vomiting. I'm so glad that I only had to work 4 hours this morning. I felt so bad that I wasn't here for her. Alden got off work this morning at 7 and he said she was fine but that she was in a hurry to go outside. He went on to bed and didn't hear a thing. I don't know if she got into something or if it was the cow hoof that she had yesterday. She loves the filled cow hooves and hadn't had one for a long time, so I bought her one yesterday. She was sick a couple more times after I came home and then lots of little spit ups. She did keep her pepto down the 2nd time and seems to be resting now. I could still hear her belly grumbling though. She is drinking water but doesn't want any food. So have a good thought for Kate please and lets hope she is all better tomorrow! Thank you.

Here she is resting on the patio while Alden was out doing some yard work. She usually folllows him around, but not today :(

aw, this stinks! when this has happened to the wonder dog, i've done the pepto, given no food and small amounts of water every hour for 24 hrs, then slowly reintroduced chicken broth and rice in small amounts, 3-4 meals a day over the next 2 days. it's surprising how upset i get when he's sick. my sympathies to you too.

Oh Robin, just the last thing you needed, for your baby girl to get sick and all the worry and anxiety that causes. I sure hope she's feeling better today. Tasha had a bad bout earlier this spring and couldn't hold anything down, she vomited 7 or 8 times that day and couldn't even keep water down. Frightened me to death, but that evening she finally curled up, went to sleep, and the next day was back to herself. I hope today Katie is feeling much better. Hi everyone. So sorry that I didn't get on the computer last night. Katie and I want to thank everyone for the well wishes and concern. Kate was back to her usual happy self yesterday. Alden had the day off yesterday and he and the girls did alot of playing and laying around. She had no appetite until late last night and finally did eat a little bit. She seems fine this morning also. Tori and her are already outside playing chase:D

I'm just glad it was some kind of 24 hour thing that has passed. I hate when one of my babies is not feeling well.
