hey you west coasters. the news has reported there was a 7.0 earthquake off the northern california coast, tsumani warnings are out, stay safe. and check in when you can

the local news says that the quake off the CA coast was too
close to the coast to generatea tsunami in the nor cal area...
but if the 'quake waves' are focused south there may be a chance a tsunami to travel down the southern coast......

The India Ocean quake happened in the middle of the Indian Ocean.....pleanty of chance for a wave to gather strength......

There was just a quake in Santa Rosa Ca....

They just interrupted my program with this breaking news. It sounds pretty serious! They are issuing a tsunami warning for BRITISH COLUMBIA! :eek: People on the Island and coast may have to evacuate tonight!

In one quake I was in the basement of a 10 story building..scared??

This freaked me out last night!!! I was about to turn my TV off and go to bed early when the national weather service warned about tsunamis!!

I finally found a news channel that said there was a 7.0 off the coast of Santa Rosa...about 2 hours north of Wolflady.

So I called her and she and Aaron didn't feel the quake. Thank God!!

Everything seems to be OK today. Thankfully. :)
