I know we have many older kitties here at PT so post your older but wiser kitty pictures here and please share their age.

This is Ripley. He turned 13 years old on March 2nd this year.

I don't know what age exactly qualifies a cat for senior benefits but my vet has been calling Ripley an older gent since he was 8.

Here's my Tucker girl. I have had her for 7 years and when I took her in the vet estimated her to be about 11 1/2 years old, so this puts her around 18 or 19 years old.

My 18 yr old Baby Girl, Speckles.
LOL I made the mistake of putting my sweatshirt on the bed and she just had to make sure it was warmed up before I put it on.

What a lovely pair of seniors.

Ripley, looking good there girl and Tucker, wow, 18-19 years old.
It just shows how much love and care can do for a girl.

My sweetie Twicket. He's fifteen and a half now. He's starting to fail a little bit, but overall he's still a healthy kitty.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v38/Glacier1998/cats%2005/metwick.jpg
He's very happy. Nothing Twicks likes more than a good snuggle.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v38/Glacier1998/cats%2005/twick.jpg
My hubby believes Twicket will pass away from purring too hard! Not a bad way to go if he has to leave.

Twicks is a rescued kitty. I've only had him for 2 years. I wish I'd had the first 13! He's my kitty soulmate!

Look at all those wonderful seniors! Like Gina, I'll have all mine as seniors at the same time. I USED to think I could spread them apart so that I wouldn't have all at once... well... Abby happened, then Harry, now Flutter. I have 4 1/2 cats all under 4!

Attached is a shot of Lamoni. We got him in the spring of 1990 so that makes him 15.

I know that he makes it in the senior CATegory but he is a bi-color so I did not post him into the White Cat thread.

Fifi is 12, I think. See, not everyone in my house get discounts at Denny's.

They are so wonderful:) give each one a kiss from me. I had a wonderful gray kitty that lived to be 16 and she was my very best friend when I was growing up. I got her when I was 5 yrs old , and she went to the bridge when i was 21 and it took me another 18 yrs till I felt comfortable enough to bring another kitty into my heart, because I always thought that there could never be a cat that I could love as much as my little Teeny girl. fast-forward to my age of 39, a co-workers son got a kitten who is gray and white, that I really fell for. I started telling my husband maybe the time has come to find me a new "love" (kitty:D ) so we went to the local humane society to find a beautiful gray and white kitten with white mittens:) none were to be found that day. but we did see many little blackies(but I didnt want any). I had my heart set on a gray and white and made a comment like...I dont want a black cat, I want a gray and white with mittens. ok. 3 weeks later we go again to look around. when in a corner cage there were two fuzzy little black furballs . I said OMG..here is THE one for me ! ,Husband says its not gray and white and has no mittens!:D I said who cares..she is coming home today with us. She is my precious baby Abby and I love her more than I ever thought I could love another kitty. She is like my second child that I could never have , and somehow I think my little Teeny girl sent her to me to love:) hope you enjoyed my story.

We don't know exactly how old our Fluffy is, but he came into our lives 16 years ago this month!! The vet thought that at the time he was already about 2 years old, so if my math is correct, Fluffy is somewhere around 18??

http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid131/p524d7b733a7bd8db5ecca6cfc46c73fd/f7a4da66.jpg

He still acts like a big baby boy, though!

Here is my sweet Samantha who will be turning 17 years old on June 26th! :)
I got her back in the summer of 1988 when she was just an 8 week old kitten.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v103/vtcat/samheart.jpg

I will have to get busy and post some new photos of her soon to celebrate her birthday and my 3000 posts!

Now where are Mimi and Peanut? They belong in this thread too!

Samantha, I had no idea you were getting ready to turn 17!!!!! :)

I know that Sandra's Mr. B is also a senior boy. Hopefully we can see his picture soon, too. My Buttercup is probably 7-8, but I don't think he qualifies as "senior" yet.

Mimi is going to celebrate her 16th birthday on June 18, this coming Saturday. I plan a celebration for her on Friday. I'll post a new picture soon! :)

I just love all these senior kitties!

Can't pass up the opportunity to post of pic of my precious Peanut girl who is 16 1/2 now.

According to Science Diet, their "senior" formula is for cats 7 and older. So that technically makes CJ a senior since he is 7 1/2 now, but he certainly doesn't act like a senior in any way! However, since he qualifies according to Science Diet, here he is. My goofy boy. :D

These seniors sure are gorgeous. I wish I could age this gracefully.:) My Storm is now almost 9 1/2 years old but he still gets bursts of energy, acts goofy, and thinks he's a big kitten. He's also the first cat that I've owned by myself. I sure do love this guy. He's my heart kitty.

Here's Malfi. He's a geezer and a meezer, so that makes him a Geezer Meezer. All we know is that he's probably over 10 yrs old. He may very well be super old.
He's limps from the broken leg last fall, and his auto-immune disease (pemphigus foliaceous) is under control. Next thing is to try and straighten out his kidney numbers, through diet, so he can have the dental he so desperately needs.

He's such a good boy, and we love him so.
